Grid Assist with Triggered Start and Stop Conditions

Introduction

The Grid Assist feature now allows you to set specific conditions for when your grid simulation module starts and stops, offering you greater control over your strategies. Whether you want the simulation to start when the asset reaches a particular price or when a TradingView alert is triggered, this feature adds flexibility to your strategy learning approach.

Key Features:

  • Start Triggers:

    • Set your Grid Assist to start based on a specific trigger, such as a price condition or a TradingView alert.

  • Stop Triggers:

    • Similarly, define when your Grid Assist should stop, with options like manual control or TradingView alerts.

  • Pending Status:

    • When waiting for a start, the assist will remain in a "Pending" status.

Setting Up Start and Stop Conditions

Start Trigger Options:

  • Instant Start (Default):

    • The Grid Assist will begin immediately upon creation.

  • Price Trigger:

    • You can set the Assist to start once the asset (e.g., BTC) reaches a certain price.

    • Example: Start the grid when BTC reaches $70,000.

  • TradingView (TV) Alert:

    • Set the Assist to start when a TradingView alert is triggered.

    • Example: Start the Assist when a TradingView alert indicates a buy signal for BTC.

Stop Trigger Options:

  • Manual Stop (Default):

    • You can stop the Assist manually at any time.

  • TradingView (TV) Alert:

    • The Assist will stop upon receiving a TradingView alert that signals a stop or closing condition.

    • Example: Stop the Assist when a TradingView alert signals to close the position on BTC.

  • TradingView Alert Start: You prefer to start the grid when an alert from TradingView signals that conditions are favorable. After the creation of Grid, you will see the pop-up with all the data for the TV alert

  • Manual Stop: You manually intervene to stop the assist whenever you choose.

  • TradingView Alert Stop: Use TradingView to signal when it's time to stop the assist.

Status Handling

  • If your assist is waiting for a trigger (price or TradingView alert), it will display as Pending in the system.

  • You can override this by manually starting or stopping the assist.

  • You can always double-check what you condition and open the Settings for Alert
