DCA SPOT Errors
Max Active Trades Limit
Error: "Failed to create a new trade - Max Active Trades has been reached"
Solution:
For Multipair DCA: Increase the number of active trades in DCA settings
For Single DCA: Only 1 active trade can be created at a time
For Paper Trading: Limited to 10 active trades for all DCA assists
Options to resolve:
Close some trades manually
Wait until existing trades close
Increase Max Active Deals value (for multi-pair DCA)
Permission Issues
Error: "Unable to create DCA/AI GRID"
Solution:
Log into your exchange account
Review if your API keys have permissions for Spot trading
Ensure Read-Write permissions are enabled
Symbol Restrictions
Error: "This symbol is not permitted for this account"
Solution: Check for these possible causes:
Regional restrictions - Contact exchange support for available pairs
Incomplete KYC verification - Complete verification on your exchange
Whitelist settings - Either add this pair to whitelist or disable whitelist restriction
DCA Settings Issues
Error: "AI DCA settings cannot be saved: nothing happens on Create button"
Solution:
Verify all data entered is valid
Check for duplicate DCA names (cannot have two DCAs with same name)
Review validation messages under form fields
Signal Routing Problems
Error: "AI DCA signal is not routed"
Solution:
Verify the pair is added to the list of pairs
Check the setting for number of active trades in DCA
Verify active trade limits (for paper trading exchanges)
For multipair DCAs with "all pairs" selected, ensure "Use all pairs" checkbox is selected
Remember signals for Spot and Futures are sent separately
Market Price Issues
Error: "Could not fetch market price. Market may be inactive."
Solution:
Verify the pair is active and supported on the exchange
Check trading volume and liquidity
Ensure no typos in the trading pair
Contact exchange support for persistent issues
Order Size Errors
Error: "Error placing Take Profit trade: Invalid order params: 'MIN_NOTIONAL'"
Solution:
Avoid trading with absolute minimum order size
Increase base order and safety order sizes
Hold some BNB to save on trading fees (for Binance)
Use at least 10% more than minimum order size for better results
DCA FUTURES Errors
Permission Issues
Error: "Exchange Permission Denied" for Bybit Futures exchange
Solution:
Review permission settings:
Required: Read-Write for Futures|Orders, Futures|Holdings, Spot|Trade, Margin|Trade, Sub-accounts|Manage
Check trade settings: Futures trading - Cost Value
Whitelist Errors
Error: "This symbol is not in the symbol whitelist"
Solution:
Add this pair to your whitelist, or
Turn off whitelist settings in your exchange
Risk Limit Errors
Error: "The value of the positions and orders exceed the risk limit of the account"
Solution:
Review and modify Risk Limits on exchange website
Consult exchange documentation:
Position Mode Errors
Error: "Order's position side does not match user's setting"
Solution:
Ensure account is in ONE WAY MODE (no HEDGING enabled)
Check position settings on the exchange
Regulatory Restrictions
Error: "Trading of this pair or contract is restricted due to local compliance requirements"
Solution:
Log into your exchange account
Check if restriction applies to your account (common in Europe for USDT pairs)
Consider alternative trading pairs if available
GRID AI ASSIST Errors
Grid Status Issues
Error: "GRID Status 'Closing' but not updating"
Solution:
Check Orders tab for any remaining open orders
The AI Assist may still be in process of closing orders
Price Range Problems
Error: "Buy order price cannot be higher than XX"
Solution:
This is an exchange-side error
Setup grid with smaller differences between current price and upper/lower price limits
Balance Errors
Error: "Insufficient balance error"
Solution:
If using Binance with BNB fee option: Keep some BNB available in your spot wallet
If not using BNB fee option: Ensure sufficient funds in base/quote currency
Add the minimum amount allowed by your exchange in the currency used by the Assist
Grid Limitations
Error: "Maximum number of running grids reached"
Solution:
Stop one of your running grids, or
Upgrade your subscription plan
Note: Grids on paper trading and real accounts both count toward your limit
Order Routing Issues
Error: "Orders are routed but transactions are not created"
Explanation:
According to Grid algorithm, transactions are only created when both Buy and Sell orders are routed
When only Buy or only Sell orders are placed, no transaction will be created yet
Duplicate Grid Prevention
Error: "Cannot create Grid for the same Pair on the same exchange"
Solution:
Stop the running Grid for this pair
Then start a new grid for the pair
Order Limit Errors
Error: "binance {"code":-2010,"msg":"Duplicate order sent."}"
Solution:
Cancel all open orders for this pair
Start a new Grid Assist
Consider reducing Grid quantity per grid
AI BASKETS Errors
Order Validation Issues
Error: "AI BASKET order validation failed"
Solution:
The issue relates to minimum order validation
Increase the investment size to resolve the issue
Order Placement Failures
Error: "Failed to place Buy/Sell order"
Solution:
For Buy order failures: Review available balance on your exchange
For Sell order failures: Check if the specified assets are still available on your exchange
Zero Allocation Issues
Error: "Some assets have 0 allocation, total amount, current market value"
Solution:
Increase allocation for these assets (percentage reallocation will trigger rebalancing)
Increase investment size (more capital will enable basket to buy desired amount of assets)
Order Size Limitations
Error: "AI Basket order error: bybit {"retCode":170136,"retMsg":"Order quantity exceeded lower limit."}"
Solution:
For Rebalancing errors: No action needed (small difference between current and target allocation)
For Manual or Auto-buy events: Increase the investment amount
General Best Practices
Always check permissions when connecting a new exchange
Maintain sufficient balance in fee currencies (BNB for Binance, or base/quote currency)
Avoid minimum order sizes - use at least 10-20% above minimum requirements
Monitor exchange-specific limits on open orders and positions
Update API keys regularly for security and to ensure proper permissions
