Hi, I was testing the AI Basket in this last period and I was trying to make partial take profits of some assets that I put in the basket; in particular, I followed these steps:
1) decrease of weight percentage of the asset in order to provide their partial take profits
2) increase of weight percentage of the other ones in order to retrieve to a 100% allocation of the basket distributed in the remaining assets
Doing this, I noticed one thing: when I decrease the percentge of a crypto, the basket make sell orders (that’s right in order to do take profits), while when I increase the percentage of a crypto, the basket make buy orders; this last thing it’s not so good to me, because when I take partial profits it means that the price of the crypto is usually higher than the entry price, so the buy orders made by the basket, as said before, risk to ruin the average buy price due to its increase.
One solution I was thinking about can be the possibility to only sell a percentage of the crypto we want to partial profit and the basket automatically rebalance the other cryptos percentage to return to 100% allocation, but without making buy orders (as the partial profit decrease also the entire capital of the basket, so we are not really adding capital to the other cryptos, but it is mathematically right that their importance increase with respect to the withdrawn crypto)
